Wie soll man dieses permanente Kriegsberichterstattung und Bilder aushalten? Der Wahnsinn des russischen Angriffskriegs in der Ukraine und die Unberührtheit unseres Lebens hier, nicht weit weg von da, wo Heimat und Leben zerbricht, verbrennt, verschwindet. Nonstop. Völlig unvorbereitet werden wir Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer eines brutalen Ereignisses.
Auch wenn es nur ein winziger Beitrag ist, wir möchten etwas tun zur Linderung von Not und Leiden; nicht irgendwie, irgendwas, irgendwo, sondern konkret und jetzt gleich. Taschen, die wir gestaltet und finanziert haben, tragen Zeichen der Ukraine und der Hoffnung. Sie können – Du kannst diese Taschen zum Einzelpreis von EUR 10,– (exkl. Versand) erwerben. Der Erlös des Verkaufs geht zur Gänze an traumatisierte, ukrainische Mütter und Kinder, deren Welt innerhalb der letzten Wochen in Stücke zerrissen wurde.
Der Spendentransfer verwaltet treuhändisch die Ukrainerin Viktorya Zipper, geb. Rudenko. Sie hat vor über 20 Jahren in Österreich ihre zweite Heimat gefunden, ihre Doktorarbeit über die Ukraine geschrieben und arbeitet zur Zeit als Psychotherapeutin und Freiwillige mit betroffenen Familien in Wien.

How is one supposed to handle the constant stream of news and photos? The madness of the Russian war aggression in Ukraine stands in complete contrast to the pristine nature of our lives here, not far from where home and life crumble, burn, disappear. Non-stop. Completely unprepared, we became spectators of the brutal event.
Even if it is only a tiny contribution, we want to help alleviate the hardship and suffering. Not something, somewhere, somehow … But right here and right now. The bags we designed and financed carry signs of Ukraine and hope. You can buy one for the price of EUR 10,– (excl. shipping). All of the sale proceeds will go entirely to traumatized Ukrainian mothers and children, whose world has been torn to pieces over the past few weeks.
All donations are managed by Viktorya Zipper, née Rudenko, who distributes them directly. Viktorya is a Ukrainian who found her second home in Austria more than 20 years ago, wrote her doctoral thesis on Ukraine and is currently working as a psychotherapist and volunteer with affected families in Vienna.
